Jaclyn and Stuart McGuire

JNS Brand Management Ltd is owned and managed by Jaclyn McGuire.  Jaclyn studied marketing at the prestigious Southern Methodist University in Dallas achieving First Class honours, and in the succeeding years assisted her father in the running of his business operations.  She also completed a Senior Diploma in Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America.  In 2011 after a family investment, Jaclyn became President of the Moodie Report, a leading media business in the Travel Retail industry.  This gave her unique access to most major players in the business, across all areas.  In 2013 she joined Scorpio Worldwide Ltd as Marketing Development Director, gaining further experience and contacts looking for new brands to bring to market.  Working with the team, she had direct input in product design and selection, B2B and B2C marketing and sales, working on successful campaigns for leading brands such as Roja Parfums, Dr Levy cosmeceuticals, Aviator watches, and Just Cavalli watches.  Following the sale and integration of Scorpio Worldwide Ltd into Gebr Heinemann, Jaclyn has founded JNS to offer her expertise in assisting brands in entering the TR market.
‘I have always been passionate about fashion, whether it is high end luxury brands, pret a porter, fragrances and cosmetics, leather, jewellery and watches.  I am constantly researching and learning about new brands, on and off line, travelling extensively and looking in all shops from bazars to boutiques.   I feel closely attached to all fashion, and am always excited to find new products and help them link in new products to the market.  It gives me enormous pride and satisfaction to see products that we have found appear on global inflight magazines, or in leading duty free stores.  It’s an exciting and vibrant market, where travelers are looking to be entertained and find something unique – that is the adventure of travel.  Our role is to help create the right product and brands to keep that excitement and adventure going, and turn it into success for retailer, brand and consumer.’
Jaclyn is ably assisted by her husband Stuart McGuire, founder and CEO of Scorpio Worldwide Ltd.  Stuart brings a wealth of further experience through his previous business, having worked in Travel Retail most of his life, especially in the inflight sector.  Through Scorpio Stuart was dealing with over 200 airlines globally, and most major duty free shopping groups across watches, jewellery, perfume, cosmetics and gadgets.  In 2007 leading retailer and distributor Gebr Heinemann purchased a majority stake in the business, to further develop sales of perfume and cosmetics into the UK TR market.  Brands under management included L’Oreal Produits de Luxe, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden, L’Occitane, as well as Lacoste watches, Aviator, Timberland, Swarovski and other.  Scorpio became the leading supplier globally to the inflight retail market, being renowned for building long term relationships and trust. Stuart continues to consult for Gebr Heinemann through JNS, as well as being part of the Hayward Partnership and a Non-Executive Director of Ark Skincare.
